This beautiful area is Located on the Osa Peninsula, in the southwest of Costa Rica. Corcovado National Park is considered an important part of the extensive system of National Parks and Biological Reserves of the country, and due to its great diversity and biological abundance it has been called “… one of the most biologically intense areas of the world” by National Geographic Magazine. It is characterized by its tropical Rainforest, however between 25 and 30 different ecosystems can be identified, as well as 13 different types of vegetation. Without a doubt, Corcovado is a spectacular place where you can find yourself face to face with mammals such as the tapir, the jaguar, the puma, the peccary, the deer and monkeys, as well as a wide variety of birds, reptiles, amphibians and insects.
