Location: San Gerardo de Dota, Los Santos Forest Reserve, next to Los Quetzales National Park, on the slopes of the Talamanca mountain range.

How to get there:

  • Taking the southern part of the Interamerican Highway towards Perez Zeledón, at kilometer 80, take the only exit, on the right-hand side and continue for approximately 9 kilometers until reaching Sueños del Bosque.
  • From the South Pacific or Manuel Antonio take the Coastal Route towards Dominical, and after crossing the bridge over the Baru River continue to Perez Zeledón where you enter the southern part of the Interamerican Highway in the direction of San José. At kilometer 80, take the exit on the left-hand side and continue for approximately 9 kilometers until reaching San Gerardo de Dota.


  • Cabin with kitchen: Its maximum capacity is 6 to 8 persons; it has three bedrooms, a living room, private bathroom with hot water and a fully equipped kitchen.
  • Standard Cabin: Its maximum capacity is 4 persons; it has two queen beds, a living room, private bathroom and coffeemaker. There are two standard cabins that have a fireplace.
  • All cabins have a view of either the forest or the lake, and they have cable TV and WiFi.
